How to create a cook mod request for Xbox

To receive a new cook mod or an update, follow these steps:

  1. Select Submit a request → New mod / Mod update.
  2. Fill in information into the Your email address and Subject fields. Make sure the subject title starts with Update mod or New mod.
  3. Provide the current mod name in the Description field.
  4. Add a direct Google Drive link to the archive containing the mod in the URL to Google Drive with a mod field. 
    Note: If the link contains multiple folders instead of a single archive, the request will be rejected.
  5. Add a link to the URL to mod’s page on mod.io field.
  6. Confirm the mod does not contain references to assets that are not included in the mod itself, e.g., assets from another mod, in the Reference confirmation field.
  7. Confirm the mod does not contain malicious files or inappropriate content in the Malicious files or inappropriate content check field.
